Card of the Day: Two of Wands

The tarot card the Two of Wands
Deck: Light Seer

Keywords:
Choice • Vision • Planning

Archetype:
The Visionary; The part of me standing at the edge of the known, looking toward what could be. There’s a sense of readiness… but also pause.

My Interpretation:
This card showing up again feels like a sign that something in me is still figuring out what’s next. Maybe there’s a decision brewing?, or a future vision forming?, and I’m not quite ready to leap yet.

It’s not a bad thing. It just means I’m still gathering clarity. This card holds space for dreaming, planning, and getting honest about what’s worth pursuing.

I don’t have to have the whole map. But I do need to check in: Is my vision aligned with where I actually want to go?

Connection to Previous Cards:

This echo of June 28’s Two of Wands hits differently now, coming after The Hanged Man. That card asked me to pause and shift perspective, and now this one says,

“Okay. Now reimagine what’s possible from that new place.”

It also builds on the two Aces (Cups and Pentacles), which sparked emotional and grounded new beginnings.

This is the second checkpoint, a moment to consider direction with deeper awareness.

Journal Prompts:

  1. What have I learned since the last time this card appeared?
  2. What decision or path am I still holding back on?
  3. What does “moving forward” look like now, with everything I’ve felt and seen?

Gentle Intention:

“I give myself permission to move forward slowly—with clarity and intention.”

 Personal Reflection:

I’ve been struggling with the exact specifics of the current project I’m working on. I know the brand and the vibe, but pulling all the pieces together has been a challenge (oh, the struggles of an artist smile). So The Hanged Man and the planning aspects of this card really do make sense as I navigate this project.
