Burnt Out, But Still Moving

Today wasn’t great, but I showed up for therapy and made space to rest. That counts.

  • Rough night last night. I ended up sleeping through my alarm and didn’t wake up until 9:30am — groggy and stiff.

     

  • Thinking : Maybe this is the crash after the high of the generator finally arriving. I was so relieved and excited about the possibilities… maybe today’s just the emotional rebound.

     

  • Thinking (again) : I miss when I could start a podcast and not immediately hear about the President. I get that he keeps doing headline-worthy things, but seriously, there’s a whole world out there. Starting every show with his… noise… is just tedious.

     

  • Podcasts: NPR, Reuters, BBC, the usual background noise.

     

  • Spent some time journaling and poking around social media.

  • Therapy today! I always feel so burnt out afterwards. Not in a bad way, just drained. Hopefully that means I’ll sleep better tonight.I’ve got a busy week ahead, and I might be getting help with the well soon (fingers crossed). May is shaping up to be chaos, so the more I prep now, the smoother it’ll go.
