Today felt like one of those slow but steady wins. I woke up with a full night’s sleep (finally!), tackled my to-do list, wrestled with a few frustrations, and still found a little magic in the garden. Watching my radishes and potatoes push through the soil reminds me, growth happens even when life feels a bit messy.
- Woke up with my alarm (7am) after a full night’s sleep… now where’s my caffeine?
- Spent 20 minutes scrolling through Hinge, only to reject every option *eye roll*
- Podcasts : Chillin Space DSNight 3 Vibrasphere Mix, NPR, Reuters, and BBC.
- Got caught up on my journals and updated my notice board.
- Caught up on my social media and blogging.
- Considering : Setting up my “Arabian Nights Tent” to sleep outside and stay cooler. It’s not a problem yet… but it might be a good temporary solution.
- Water : Realized this morning that without the water pump, watering the plants takes twice as long. It’s doable, but frustrating.
- By 2pm, I am officially done solving problems for the day. There’s only so much I can battle at once.
- 5 of the 9 seed potatoes have broken ground in the front of Bed 4.
- I added some Chives and Thyme seeds directly into the soil around the edge of Bed 4.
- In Bed 3, I harvested some radishes and replanted radish seeds in the gaps.
- In Bed 2, I snuck in a few more radishes into the empty spots, I like radishes, but they also grow quickly and help me not waste water while waiting for slower crops.
- Thinking : While things have been a little tough lately, and yes, I’ve stomped my foot and gotten pissy, I’m grateful. Having two rigs with two different solar setups isn’t ideal, but it’s working, and that’s more than some people have.
- Watching : YouTube Trash and Descendants: The Rise of Red (4th attempt… still haven’t actually watched it for more than 30 mins).
