Woke up tired, lost my water pump, and almost my patience —
but I kept going, found small wins, and spotted the first potato shoots. Tiny joys count.
- Said “Good Morning” to the world around 7:30am after yet another poor night’s sleep.
Struggling to get going this morning. - Tea: Wild Empress & Calm and Clear (both my own blends)
- Garden: Potatoes are starting to break the soil — yippee!
- Garden: I keep seeing Stink Lizards, so cute (Photo on my insta)
- And of course… I was pumping water from my storage tank into the 5th wheel — and the pump overheated and burned out. It’s only a few months old. WTF? Waiting for it to cool down now. Not sure there’s enough water for even a sink bath. Got a busy day ahead and… yeah, I’m panicking a bit. (I’ll figure it out — but let me have my meltdown first, okay?)
- Headed over to see the Grumpy Old Man and his dog.
We ticked off a few little jobs and started planning to close down his site before he heads back up north. - While I was there, I made use of the free running water — finally cleaned out my truck’s water tank! Bleach rinse, then vinegar, then fresh fill. One more thing off the list.
- Finally got home around 9pm, just as the light was fading.
Totally worn out.
Might take a cheeky Xanax — I don’t like taking them, but I do like actually sleeping.
Sleeping pills don’t work for me — they make me sleepwalk, which I can’t risk while living alone. - Watching: Oddity — pretty good! Kinda scary!
